Signs You May Need Emergency Dental Care

- Severe Pain – this is a sign of infection that may require antibiotics as well as pain relief medication

- Accident – an injury to your mouth/jaw should be seen immediately

- Cracked or Chipped Tooth - it may not seem serious, but ignoring a small crack or chip in your tooth can create larger dental issues

- Lost Tooth – assuming it was a permanent tooth, there’s a possibility the tooth could be saved if seen in time.

- Excessive bleeding - this may be due to gum disease, an accident or any number of other causes

- Pus or Infection – this type of infection could actually spread if ignored

After a cleaning at my regular dentist, my fixed retainer snapped. I was able to call and get scheduled for the following week, thankfully the wire ended up coming off fine. The dr was great, he looked around, filed the glue off and reminded me to get new retainers so i don't end up fixing my teeth again. I will return once i have my gum graft in Prescott to apply another fixed retainer and get new molds and trays.
